Cuenta con una extensa trayectoria profesional y académica, consolidada por una Maestría en Arquitectura (1988) y un Bachillerato en Diseño Ambiental (1985), ambos de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. Desde 2022, es Socia Principal en MÉNDEZ, BADILLO & FERRER ASSOCIADOS, habiendo sido previamente Arquitecta Senior en la firma durante 30 años (1992-2022). Simultáneamente, ha ejercido la docencia como Profesor Adjunto en la Escuela de Arquitectura y Diseño de la PUCPR desde 2010, donde también coordinó la Unidad Académica de Tecnologías Sostenibles (2015-2025). Su liderazgo profesional es notable, habiendo servido como Presidenta del Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico (CAAPPR) (2013-2016) y Presidenta del Capítulo de Puerto Rico del AIA (2006). Además, ha sido jurado invitado en prestigiosos concursos internacionales (Premios Obras CEMEX 2023) y es autora del libro Ponce Místico (2017).
